Is ConnectIE free to use?
Yes — browsing providers and submitting service requests is completely free for residents. ConnectIE will never charge residents to find local services.
What does "Unclaimed Listing" mean?
Some businesses on ConnectIE were sourced from public directories like Google Places. These listings show real business information but haven't been verified directly by the business owner yet. The business can claim their free listing at any time to add photos, pricing, and respond to reviews.
How are providers verified?
Providers who claim their listing can submit identification, professional licenses, and other credentials for manual review. Verified providers display a "Verified Pro" badge. Verification is transparent — we show what was checked, not just a generic stamp.
Are all providers local to the Inland Empire?
Yes. ConnectIE is exclusively focused on the Inland Empire region — Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and surrounding communities. We intentionally limit geographic scope to keep listings relevant and accountable.

How do I list my business?
Click "Join as Provider" from the homepage or navigate to the Providers section. You can create a profile, add your services, set your pricing, and submit for verification — the basic listing is free.
My business is already listed — how do I claim it?
If your business appears as an "Unclaimed Listing," you can claim it by creating a provider account and verifying your ownership. Claimed listings let you update your information, respond to reviews, and add pricing.
Does ConnectIE charge a commission on jobs?
ConnectIE is currently in early access. Basic listings are free. We will always be transparent about any future pricing before it takes effect.
Can I pay to appear higher in search results?
No. ConnectIE uses community-driven ranking — ratings, reviews, and relevance determine order. No one can pay to rank higher. This is a core principle of the platform.
